Grammy nominated, Hammond organist, Brian Charette has established himself as a leading voice in modern jazz. He has worked with many notable artists such as Joni Mitchell, Chaka Khan, Lou Donaldson, and countless others. Since moving to New York in 1995 from his native Meriden, Connecticut, Charette has become an integral part of the New York City jazz scene.

Born in Kfar-Saba, Israel, Yossi had a love for music from an early age, but it was on a trip to India—during a break from his pursuit of a degree in Industrial Engineering—that his deep passion for and commitment to music emerged. He had brought his guitar to Varanasi, a mecca for great Indian musicians, and began studying sitar and Indian classical music with master sitarist Arvind Singh. After several months of study, Yossi began applying his sitar studies to his guitar improvisation.

Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue
GGLRR is an all-volunteer, nonprofit tax-exempt organization in the greater San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. Our Lab Rescue team saves purebred Labrador Retrievers and Lab mixes from shelters, as well as assists people giving up their dogs for adoption. We provide foster homes, veterinary care, and rehabilitation when needed, and place them with loving, forever families.
